Dr. Joseph Currier

My practice primarily serves adolescents and adults who are struggling with a number of emotional and/or behavioral concerns (e.g., depression, anxiety, substance abuse, relationship troubles). I have special expertise in PTSD, grief, and other difficulties that can emerge following trauma, bereavement, serious illness (e.g., cancer), and other stressful life events (e.g., military combat). I assume a holistic approach that aims to alleviate suffering and support clients to restore meaning and purpose in life. I have learned that faith can be a critical part of this process and also enjoy working with clients who desire to address religious and/or spiritual concerns.
