The Center for Child and Adolescent Development provides diagnostic and intervention services to children ages 6 months through 18 years who present with, or are at risk of, developmental, intellectual, emotional and behavioral health disorders.

During FY 2011, CCAD screened 223 infants for developmental delays, provided 708 diagnostic evaluations, and provided a total of 3,295 units of professional therapeutic (psychological, speech and occupational therapies) services. As a nonprofit corporation, the majority of children served by CCAD come from an undeserved population and household income below 133% of the federal poverty level.

During FY 2011, CCAD continued to engage in activities that are designed to accomplish on-going goals, which include: maintenance and improvement of services, increasing community awareness, enhancement of professional expertise, increasing cooperative ties and training, and participation in the determination of community needs and service gaps.

Maintenance of Clinic Services: Clinic services were maintained and a satellite office was continued at Stabler Clinic in Greenville in Butler County as well as other nearby counties.
