The Garaventa Stair-Trac is a portable wheelchair stair lift designed for indoor or outdoor use to allow an attendant to easily move a wheelchair user up and down most stair surfaces. The device fits most cross brace wheelchairs, and will adapts to a child’s narrow wheelchair. The device consists of a folding L-shaped unit with steel belted caterpillar tracks on the bottom side to securely grip stairs, auxiliary wheels for flat surface travel, and a handle with the control mechanisms on the upright side. The device is equipped with a wear indicator and a stair slope indicator. It has a quick release safety belt to keep the passenger secure. A wheelchair support handle attaches by double safety latch. The handle detaches for storage.
