Children and Adolescents seem to be overlooked by many providers but I have made it a point to provide a place where both are treated with respect and dignity, not an afterthought. Emotional and behavioral health issues are often overlooked until things get so out of hand the adults addressing the issues feel overwhelmed. I provide an atmosphere where dignity, respect, safety, and empowerment thrive. I work hard to guide my clients toward successful interventions. Children are empowered, teens are respected and heard, and adults are given tools for success. Everyone succeeds.
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as the main focus of treatment. CBT is evidence based with research to support the effectiveness in treatment. Using an eclectic approach to treatment with a foundation of CBT will provide an atmosphere of empowerment toward self-determination.
