We began serving the West Mobile community in 1995 when the doors of our rehabilitation and wellness center opened. In 2017, the center was refurbished to include new décor and updated fitness equipment, and renamed to honor longtime Board member and dedicated Providence Hospital supporter Beth M. Rouse. Today, the 20,000-square-feet Beth M. Rouse Rehabilitation and Wellness Center is considered a Level 5 fitness facility by the American Heart Association and the American College of Sports Medicine, which means it meets strict standards in safety and staffing.
Features of the facility include:
- Two heated indoor pools
- Exercise testing lab
- Cardiovascular and weight training room with all new equipment
- Dedicated space for land and water aerobics classes
