We ALL face adversities in life, including myself… and depending on how we choose to overcome them helps determine whether we will. Finding the fortitude or courage to see our circumstances through is a powerful source of motivation to press forward in hard times. I am privileged to provide foundational Christian counseling to individuals, couples, children, adolescents, or families for those facing varieties of adversities in life. “Cast your anxieties on Him [God] because He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7 It’s easier said than done, but I have hope that there is a way through the fire.
Just as we must take care of our physical health, we must take care of our mental and emotional health as well. We are humans, male and female, and we are not indestructible. We wear down, sometimes physically, sometimes mentally and emotionally and even our hearts and minds need healing.
