With 30 years’ experience in the human service field,the past 17 in a thriving solo private practice, working with and supervising others in working with a variety of diagnoses, my experience has led me to some special approaches to therapy. The Transpersonal approach allows me to work to assist clients in finding and living the Authentic Self. The Cognitive approach works to assist the individual in changing beliefs about self, other and life which stand in the way of healthy, happy living. Individual personal and interpersonal development and couples therapy (including alternative relationships) are special areas of interest.
Therapy is useful when it puts us in touch with aspects of ourselves, which give us peace, allowing us to trust ourselves to not only cope with life, but live a full and happy life. Learning to live from your authenticity is learning to become your own therapist.
